I have a gold Longines manual wind watch which is working order and in very good condition. It has an ivory colour face with the figures 12, 3 and 9. At the 6 position is a sweep second hand dial.

Inside the following is on the movement:
Longines 17 Jewels swiss
10882481
12.68z

Inside the case is the following:
D.S&S
BAUME
07479

There is a hallmark which has the first character as a crown, the second is 18 the third I cannot make out and the fourth looks like a C.

Anyone any ideas on appox value?

Is this a British Market Watch?

The movement dates from 1950. It hard to tell for sure what kind of value to place on it without seeing it and I'm not clear if it is 18k or 9k gold. Assuming it is a fairly simple case design and the case is a British Market case that is original to the watch, a rough estimate would be:

9k gold = $175 - $275
18k gold = $225 - $400
