It's case reference E855, caliber K825, circa 1965. The dial appears to be re-painted. Value with a re-done dial is probably around $1500. | ||

It's repainted. It's missing some key features like "AUTOMATIC". | ||

No it is real, just the dial is repainted. | ||

In the meantime I had a watchmaker open it. The serial of the movement is 1807649 and on the back of the back there is another number 855. Movement is marked K.825 and looks very real. | ||

Sorry to bother you, but where would be a good place to look for an original strap to this watch? I guess it is a 18 mm strap. | ||

I don't think you'll find "original" straps anymore, i.e. ones that are 40 years old. You can buy new JLC straps and steel buckles, but the cost is very high, perhaps $200+, so I'm not sure it's worth it. Check with a JLC retailer to see what the cost is. |
