I found this watch at an estate sale and need some information on it please. The movement serial number is 2247078 and the case number is 462924  |

Hi, the movement is genuine. The case looks a little weird to me. Either way, given that the dial was repainted at some point, and the general style of the watch, it will not be substantially worth more than the gold, if in fact it is gold. Dates to the 1970s. |

It is stamped 14k gold on the case back and on the end of the watch band. And it weighs almost 2 ounces.

I think you are still looking at gold scrap + sell the movement on eBay for ~$100. |
