Hi big surprise but I have an old watch I'd like some help identifying.

As the title said this was my grandpa's and it's one of two watches I've found of his just as I have decided to start wearing watches. The other is an American made Bulova Accutron 214. I also just bought a new Seiko 5 to wear more casually.

I like the watch a lot and it has a ton of cool functions about it that make me think "Yep he would buy something like this." He was a rubber chemist who made shoes during the Great Depression and tires during WW2. Up until he was 75 he was still travelling to India to organize old school tire manufacturing plants. This watch as been around and form the looks of it it went everywhere with him. I'd like to imagine him using this watch to time parts of some factory production process.

I literally have no idea about this watch. I wound it up (I think) and it just started working. It has been keeping time for me all week.

So I decided I'd like to know more about it and this looked like a good place to ask around.

I'd be grateful for any help offered.

Never mind apparently it's an old Chronograph.

I believe it is case reference E335, this model had a long production run, mostly sold throughout the 1960s.
