Zaf,
Nearly a year has passed since you offered to date the Memovox E855 that my father purchased at a shop near the Chapel Bridge in Lucerne in October of 1962. From the dial, it appears to be an early version of the E855. Possibly from 1959 or 1960 but only the number will tell for sure. At that time I didn't have the number from the movement and when I did, I lost it. Now it is found and I hope that the offer still stands.

The movement would date to approx 1962, so the Oct 1962 date sounds right.
