Here is my JLC Triple Date in rose gold. Would appreciate any comments from the experts. There is wear on the dial, but I assume it is best to "leave it alone." What is this watch worth now?

Unless you want to reduce the value of the watch, I'd definitely leave that dial alone. I would however replace the crown with something similar to original.

Thanks, Zaf.
Any suggestions where I can find such a crown? Is this something I would have to get at a JLC service centre? Thanks.

BTW, great book.

No JLC service center will want to service it and charge you $2000+. Do you have a repair shop near you?

I do have someone that can look at it. But I'm not sure if they do much vintage work. Especially to find and replace a rose gold crown on a 50+ tear old watch.

Doesn't hurt to ask. If you have my book, there are a couple of examples of the correct crown. It's plain vanilla, pretty flat in shape, slightly oversized. If you find a yellow one, you can always replate it in rose.

Yes I do have your book, and can see what you're describing. Thanks, I'll see if my watchmaker can do.

BTW, can you give an estimate on it's value? It has the caliber 464/A as described in your book.
