Hello I have tried to list this post before without any success.I have a 9ct gold JLC the case is hallmarked for 1960 it has a cal k880 which is automatic.the case has the makers mark DTE it is obviously designed specifically for JLC it requires a special tool to remove the back. The movement is numbered 1407819.Wht I would like to know is this a particular model.I would appreciate any help I suspect the dial may have been refinished sometime in the past and any detail previously on the dial may have been lost.Although the dial looks okay in the pictures it is very dirty.I would also like to thank Zaf for his help with my military LeCoultre

Hi, you've pretty much identified. It's a Britsh cased JLC, case made by DTE/Dennision. If you have a 1960 hallmarks, that's a good indicator of the age, though the complete watch may have come to be a year or two later. As it is a DTE it will not have a Swiss model number, so all that can be done is to try to find a British catalog with that watch in it. That might have a case reference number.

So the part I sent worked?
