Zaf Thanks for the reply my friend. "Part 13" is marked on all LeCoultre original parts envelopes when the contents is a Balance staff, Then the specific movement is labeled below that. The interchangeability of the balance staff for 489 movement and 825 movement is my interest. Thanks John |

In the parts catalog, it is listed as the same part. Though in practice, you never know! |

Don't nail me on this, but a little note in my archive states that some parts are interchangeable from calibre 489 (814) with 815 and 825. The balance staff (originally following the FH system) part #723 is one of these. Perhaps (!) US market spare parts originally coming from LeCoultre, Switzerland are marked with 'Best fit' system numbers since you mention #13 on the package. |
