I have a 1969 14K Bulova Accutron 2182 that I purchased new, but haven't worn or used since the 1970's (sometime). The original wristband is now missing.

My basic question is whether anyone would know whether this watch has any sale value (even for parts) above the scrap value of the gold case.

If it's running, it should have more value than scrap. Maybe $50-150 over.

I have two Accutron 2182s, both 18K gold, one with the original 18K gold mesh band with accutron symbol on the clasp. Both day/date, gold faces.

The watches were purchased in 1970. Both are still accurate. They have been well cared for but both have been frequently worn. Some scratching on backs of cases. Any idea of value?

I think the answer will be the same, gold value + $50 to $150 depending on model & condition.

Hi, I have a Accutron with the tuning fork and 2 of the more modern versions. Where could I get the correct batteries to see if they work?

@Watchdog.
As far as I know, Gary Clark (eBay ID: Nostalgia-2000) sells on eBay a composite device named Accucell-1 (made by a 395 watch silver-oxide cell plus a tiny plastic and brass adapter) that exactly emulates (mechanically and electrically) the original 387 Accutron cells (since several years 387's are not any more produced, as they were mercury cells).
In the Accucell-1 (even if, obviously, the seller declares that it is not possible) it is very easy to replace the 395 cell when it get exhausted (I did it successfully several times).
The 395 useful accutron life is about 10/12 months, a little less than the 12/15 months of the original 387.
Hope this helps.
Andrea.
