My Dad brought home several watches from Viet Nam in 1968. His, and my older brothers were Seiko 5's but my closest in age brother and I received a watch each that I cannot remember the brands of. My brothers wasn't notable in any way but mine was maybe something that someone would know about. It was a rather small size, gold or gold tone, mechanical mov't., white face, leather strap, and the unique aspect was the second hand that was the outline of a gold colored fighter jet that was magnetic and travelled around the watch. I fixed it and replaced the band years later but can't find it. My older brothers are suspect(ha ha), Any info on brand, availability to purchase now, would be much appreciated. |

I have a Waltham 17 jewel Ladies wrist watch. It has flip top that looks like a buckle. The band is broken. I don't know anything else and came across this site while searching for information. I would like to know approximate value ($5, $50, $500) so my sister-in-law will feel guilt-free when she sells at our spring garage sale. Thanks for any information. I have a picture, but not smart enoug to get it uploaded. |

Probably more like $50 rather than $5 or $500. |
