I'm unloading one of my pocket watches (Louis Brandt, 1890s). It runs well but the quotes I've been getting in the jeweler district have run the gamut. Can anyone help me out? It's approx 1.80 inches in diameter. I have pictures of the outside and inside.

The "Louis Brandt & Freres" was not used until 1891. So the watch dates to after that. The Omega name started in 1894. So I'd imagine the watch dates to between 1891 and 1894. Questions for you: Do you happen to know what ORTA is and is the case silver? Zaf |

Sorry, I really don't. It looks like the style of an Omega movement, but I just can't explain ORTA. |
