This was sold to me as a 50's Angelus watch. There are few markings for identification: 18K , 0.750 gold stamp, plus a "shoe"-looking stamp with 121 stamped inside of it...all these markings are on the back. The size is 38MM lug to lug. Any help with ID would be appreciated

Hi. Sorry to break the bad news, but it is not an Angelus, but one of the generic "Chronographe Suisse" style watches with a Landeron movement. These usually have veru thin 18k cases. Zaf |

Thanks, I half expected as much, I am happy with it anyway. Any timeframe/price estimate? |

1940s to 1950s, value is really going to depend on how much gold you have, if it is paper thin then $400-600, if it has any weight at all, maybe $600-800. |
