Thanks zafbasha. Does that mean a)the case back is not original or b) it couldnt possibly be a Luftwaffe because the numbers dont match. Lastly, how bad does the replated case affect the value?

I'm looking at a 40s JLC with the dial and movement marked JLC, but the case is marked LC. Is that correct?
