Smiths - 17 jewel signed manual wind movement, caliber 27CS, excellent+ Dennison Aquatite signed chrome top/case with stainless steel screw-back case 33.5mm diameter, back is engraved "AL490" unclear what that means, perhaps some related to an expedition!. excellent original radium luminous Arabic numeral dial, red sweep seconds, even, heavy but even patina. Hard to find Smiths Deluxe model A454 as used in the Fuchs Antarctic expedition of 1955, with interesting engraving. (Ref rx1524)
