Watches sold in North America were sold under the LeCoultre name from October 1932 to approximately 1985. After that the Jaeger-LeCoultre name was adopted uniformly worldwide. The LeCoultre name can also be found in pre-Jaeger merger watches in Europe, typically watches made before 1937.

Most commonly seen LeCoultre watches however, were made for the North American Market. In most of these, Swiss movements were cased in American made cases, tailored to the local market tastes using gold filled and solid 14 karart gold cases.
